21XMouse Mouse Chromosomes mFISH Kit*

The 21XMouse probe kit brings the mFISH technique to the analysis of mouse chromosomes. Kits are produced using the same stringent quality protocols of other MetaSystems DNA probes. The 21XMouse kit uses the same labeling strategy of the 24XCyte human mFISH kit (see B-tect).

MetaSystems is the only manufacturer to offer the complete product range for filter-based multicolor FISH. All the analysis tools provided by Isis for the analysis of human mFISH chromosomes can also be used for mouse chromosomes labelled with 21XMouse. 21XMouse uses 5 different fluorochromes, where 4 of them are incorporated directly, whilst biotin is detected using a Streptavidin Cy™5-conjugate (see B-tect).

** The number of tests per kit is dependent on the size of the coverslips used. 60µl is sufficient for 5 (under 24x24mm² coverslips), 6 (under 22x22mm² coverslips) or 8 hybridizations (under 18x18mm² coverslips).
